What make such cars as Toyota, Chevrolet, Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Ford, Dodge, Pontiac, Volvo, Chrysler most popular with Americans? All you really have to do is look around the next time you jump in your auto and go for a drive. The most Expensive Car (ever sold in America)

The Concourse d`Elegance first started in 1950. Now it is the most popular world`s premier autoshow. The figures that were presented: Bugatti collection (12 cars) for $15 million, a 1959 Ferrari 250 GT LWB “California� Spider for $3.63 million and three cars from Oprah Winfrey’s personal collection for $716,000.

Then, of course, there’s the most expensive car in the world. A 1937 Bugatti Type 37SC Atalante Coupe, the production year marks it as one of the original cars produced under the Bugatti name.

The most expensive car ever sold in the US was auctioned for $7.92 million. It wasn’t the most expensive car in the world, however. That honor belongs to a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder sold for $10.9 million.
